Pool

Took my first dip in the pool here at Costa Baja! First went into the hot tub (which is not that hot,but just right for here), then went into the pool. Cold but was very easy to get used to! It helps that the temp. is 85.

We finally got our dingy down and took a spin around the marina. Hoping to dingy over to marina palmira and check it out before we leave. The price appears to be a lot cheaper then here.

We've decided to wait till next week (21st Dec.) to head out of Costa Baja. Plan on anchoring at a few places for a couple of weeks and then head for Mazatlan. Still need to buy another Turkey for Christmas dinner. That we will do this weekend.

Tomorrow off to the pool again!

Resting in La Paz

We've decided to rest up here in La Paz for a couple of weeks. We've made reservations to fly home in Jan. So our plan is to be in Mazatlan sometime around early Jan. The weather is so nice here lately! The thought of going back to maybe snow at home does not sound to cool! It will be nice to see everyone though.

La Paz

Last night we went to the Italian restaurant for dinner. It was pretty good. There was also a presentation going on so we went to that. We guessed it was about Baja Sur by the pictures,but the orator spoke only Spanish! Only a couple of words did I understand.
Also we took the shuttle into town yesterday. La Paz is beautiful,but not a lot to do. And the big stores are sooo far away! You pretty much need a car or pay taxi service. The shuttle here will take you to the big stores at 10 am...

Cruisers Breakfast

Today we went to the Wednesday morning breakfast for cruisers. Terry and Pat got it started here at Costa Baja and today was the first breakfast. Met a lot of boaters! Some leaving today and some tomorrow for the islands. Pat looks good for not being able to walk. She has a wheelchair to get around in.

I'll say one thing,this place is nice! Lyle and I walked around after breakfast to see what is here at the marina. LOTS! The pool is amazing,and the banos are so cool! From our dock we can walk...

Fueling up

Left Ensenada at 7 am. under cloudy skies and a little fog. Everything is running smoothly. We're overnighting to Turtle Bay and spending the night there. Then off to Mag Bay for a few days of fishing and some Turkey dinner!
